PH74 magazine is an
exciting online monograph presenting
the photographic work of one artist and the text of
one curator responding to that work.
Bertol Brecht argued
that as reality changes, the means of representation
also have to change if art is to retain potential
for radical impact.
The aim of PH74 magazine
is to debate and analyse current means of
representation in contemporary photography
and to engage with a critical debate
about the different paths where contemporary photography
goes.
To do this, we pair up an artist and
a curator or critic and engage them in a conversation,
debate, discussion or argument on the work
of the artist.
The result of this encounter, alongside
with the images of the work is published as a unique
online magazine.
